How does the High Desert Psychological Services Mental Health Network Operate?

Our Mental Health Network is comprised of independently owned and operated mental health professionals who share our commitment to offering accessible, high-quality services to the communities we serve. While we refer to these clinicians collectively as our “Mental Health Network,” we want to emphasize that we do not oversee or coordinate their patient care, nor do we control access to therapeutic services. Each provider maintains full autonomy in their clinical practice.

As a practice management company, our role is to handle the administrative responsibilities that often consume a provider’s time and resources. By managing these logistical aspects, we enable our contracted providers to concentrate on their clinical work and their patients’ well-being. We believe strongly that when therapists and mental health providers can devote their attention to delivering transformative care, rather than juggling business operations, they create more impactful, supportive, and patient-focused treatment experiences.

In alignment with our dedication to supporting independent providers, we have also secured advantageous reimbursement arrangements with prominent health insurers in California. This means our network clinicians can offer their services at competitive rates to a broad range of patients.

  9. Legal Counsel & Records Department: Should legal questions arise, our retained counsel is available to advise and assist. A dedicated Records Department handles release-of-information requests, subpoenas, and other legal matters in coordination with you.
